Meet The Quackers! #QHotelsFamilyAmbassador

The team over at QHotels are on the hunt for a Family Ambassador and I’m going to come right out and say it, we are perfect for the job, yes us, look no further!  Not only are we a little bit Quackers, but we are a family who can really put their family-friendly hotels to the test.

You see, we are a ‘big age gap’ family, so if we’re happy, or not as the case maybe, then they will know they are getting right for all their family visitors.  We cover the whole spectrum by having a ‘hard to please’ teenager, a ‘tear-away’ toddler and a ‘happy but disruptive’ baby in our clan.  And of course, we already have a suitcase, Zena’s Suitcase!  Perfect.

We like our holidays, we have cruised with a baby, flown with a toddler and taken road trips with the whole tribe in tow.  We love our creature comforts and look for fun things to do and good food.  Holidays should be full of luxury, treats and adventure, not dirty dishes and shower cubicles.

QHotels have asked us bloggers to redesign their Quackers pack with what we’d like to see included for our little ones. I’ve seen a few holiday packs in my time, so I’m pretty qualified for the job…

Quackers Pack

Here’s what the Quackers pack currently offers –

  • 4 colourful crayons
  • 2 x Quackers badges
  • A flag to colour in
  • A postcard to send back to friends and family back home
  • A colouring in sheet
  • A fun puzzle and activity booklet
  • An envelope addressed to Mummy and Daddy containing a £20 voucher (to redeem off a future two-night stay!)

I’ve come up with a new Quackers Pack, that I think would be better used and add more value to the QHotel experience.  I’m going to call it the Quackers Club Pack!

  • Quackers Club Stickers and Activity Book
  • Quackers Club T-Shirt
  • Quackers Club Wristband
  • A postcard to send back to friends and family back home
  • An envelope addressed to Mummy and Daddy with discount vouchers for local attractions

All of this will be inside the Quackers Club swim bag that they can used when the little ones go to the pool for their dedicated splash times!

I’ve included stickers and an activity book as I think children of all ages enjoy these and find them more novel than just colouring.  Sticking the Quackers family in their different settings would be great fun for little ones.

It would be great to make it a ‘club’, little ones love the idea of being apart of something special that’s not about the parents.  The rather excitingly named ‘dedicated splash times’ could become ‘Quackers Club Splash Times’ and the little ones could use their swim bags.  I’m just full of great ideas!

As a Mummy, I’d really like to see a voucher for local attractions, something I can use during my stay.  That would add more value to my experience during my visit than a voucher for next time.  If I enjoy my experience I’ll be back!

I love the idea of a postcard, as I think this is a lovely activity for children to do.  It’s traditional and it’s nice to show people where you have been staying and tell them what you got up to in a ‘wish you were here’ kind of way.

I’ve popped a wristband and a T-shirt in as I think these are things that boys and girls love.  It would be a way of showing your in the ‘Quackers Club’, and really enjoying your stay!

What do you think of my new ‘Quackers Club’ Activity Pack?  Would your little ones enjoy getting this when they arrived?  If so please do head over to QHotels and vote for my entry after 30th September!
