Fowey Hall Hotel

If you prefer hotels, then Fowey Hall is a must for your family friendly holiday.  It is believed to be the original inspiration for Toad Hall from Wind In The Willows, so it will really capture all of your imaginations.

They provide up to 2 hours of free childcare in their Ofsted registered facility for babies right through to young children, so you can be sure to enjoy some free time to recharge your batteries.  Their nannies will even whisk the children away on Sunday morning’s to collect eggs from the chickens at their unique breakfast club ensuring you get at least 1 lie in during your stay.

Children can also enjoy their favourite meals, any time of day making kids dining simple and easy.  Bangers and mash is it?  Then bangers and mash it is then.  It is a holiday after all!  They’ll be in need of refuelling after splashing in the pool, zooming down the zip wire and bouncing around on the trampoline.

Tresco Island

If none of these have grabbed you, then why not stay on your own private Island?  Tresco Island is a truly unique holiday experience situated 30 miles of the Cornish coast. It’s a family owned holiday get away and they welcome visitors all year round.

If you are after a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, why not explore their unspoilt beaches and tropical gardens.  The pace of life really slows down here, making sure you and your family can really make the most of the time you have together here.

The island offers beautiful coastal walks, cycling, horse riding and an events calendar.  Travelling theatre groups often visit the island sharing their open air performances while audiences enjoy a picnic in this gorgeous setting.

There is a local pub, swimming pool and spa and plenty of water activities to enjoy.  It also provides the perfect base to explore the rest of the Isles of Scilly from.  This is a unique holiday you and your family won’t forget in a hurry!

  1. Love this post Zena, they all sound amazing tbh! I’m desperate to visit Cornwall but not driving means we are limited in where we can go. I think Fowey Hall would be our best bet, i’ll have to look into it 🙂
