Hello lovely readers.
Thanks so much for stopping by, especially at such a busy time of year.
I thought I’d share with you my top tips for feeling gorgeous and prepared for the festive party season today.
For many of us the Christmas parties and events are well under way and getting ready for these can give us a much needed boost at this time of year.
When it’s dark and cold outside, a little bit of Christmas sparkle can go a very long way to lifting our spirits.
Get Your Nails Done
I am the worst person in the world for neglecting my nails, but even a simple beauty treatment can make them look pretty and party ready.
A file and polish can make a huge difference to how you feel when you go out.
You would be surprised at how much you look at your hands, and if they are chipped and broken it can make you feel down on yourself.
This is not the mood to be in at your favourite party of the year.
Don’t Neglect Hair And Skincare
If you haven’t already booked your hair appointment for Christmas, I strongly recommend that you get on the phone and do it now.
This is a busy time of year for most hairdressers and you don’t want to get caught short so to speak!
Probably go with a familiar style or think about what is going to be easy for you to recreate on your big night out.
Remember, your hairdresser probably won’t be there to help you get ready.
As you focus on your hair, don’t forget about your skincare.
Make sure you schedule your appointment at least two weeks before the parties start if you are planning to get a facial or cosmetic procedure, like anti wrinkle treatment melbourne.
If you can’t get an appointment with your favourite beautician, then make time for a diy glow facial at home.
Your skin will love you for it, and you will look amazing for any party you have planned over the festive season.
Also, try not to skip your daily skincare regime amid the Christmas hustle and bustle.
Dress For The Party Season
Nothing will make you feel more self-conscious at a Christmas party than not being dressed for the occasion.
When party season is upon us it’s the perfect time of year to go and buy a lovely new dress.
Wearing something new and on-trend will get you in the party mood in no time, and it’s perfectly OK to treat yourself every now and again.
Maintain Your Exercise Routine
Christmas can play havoc with our health and well being, as we start to miss exercise classes or our usual visit to the gym.
Where possible try to keep your exercise routine and make it a priority to maintain it during the party season.
Feeling physically fit gives us such a boost, but exercise is also a big deal for our mental health too. Maintaining your schedule will literally keep you in good festive spirits.
Get The Dates In Your Diary
This time of year is all about planning, whether it’s Christmas presents, visiting family or which party you are going to.
Get the dates in your diary for the Christmas parties you want to be at this year, and give yourself plenty of time to be prepared.
With the dates planned well in advance, you will know when you need to have your nails done and get that new dress ready for.
How do you make sure you’re ready for the party season? I’d love to hear your tips in the comments below.
