  1. I don’t think this was on the list (let me know if I missed it somehow!), but we used to love to do crayon rubbings with the kids, with tree bark, fossils, leaves … whatever we could find! Just lay a piece of paper over the leaf or fossil or bark, and then rub over it with the side of crayon that has the paper wrapper removed. Great for art projects too!
